The pump and its auxiliary equipment should be suitable for outdoor installation and operation.
The pump should have a stable characteristic curve, on which the allowable operating range of the pump should be marked. The normal operating point of the pump should not exceed the optimal efficiency point and should be as far away from the minimum flow point as possible.
The seller shall ensure that the performance of the pump, including efficiency, flow rate, head, power consumption, and necessary cavitation allowance, meets the specified requirements.
The available NPSH a should be at least 0.5m greater than the required NPSH r, without considering the correction factor for hydrocarbon liquids.
All components should have successful experience in using them under similar operating conditions. Prototype or trial products shall not be used without the consent of the buyer.
Pressure bearing components of centrifugal pumps
The design pressure of the pump casing should be equal to the sum of the maximum inlet pressure and the maximum pressure difference that the pump can achieve. If the maximum inlet pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure, it should be calculated based on atmospheric pressure.
For pumps operating at temperatures above 0 ℃, the design temperature should be considered by adding 10 ℃ to the maximum temperature that may be encountered.
For pumps with operating temperatures equal to or below 0 ℃, their design temperature should be considered based on the lowest possible operating temperature encountered.
When transporting flammable, explosive, or toxic media with a density of less than 0.7 at operating temperature, a radial split structure pump should be used.
The pump should be designed with a rear opening structure, so that the impeller, shaft, shaft seal, and bearing components can be removed without moving the inlet and outlet flange connections.
