the centrifugal pump uses
A centrifugal pump is known as a constant head machine and the head is
measurable in either meters or feet. The liquid, usually water, will enter the
pumping portion of the unit and then go through the impeller's eye, which when
it rotates, spins out the liquid to create centrifugal acceleration. Upon
leaving the eye, it will create an area of low pressure, which will then allow
more liquid into the pump section - centrifugal force at its finest.
These
pumps are used to pump various liquids, from water pumping for general water
usage in a home or business to sewage pumping. Turbine well pumps are centrifugal
pumps that are used for pumping a well. They are used for fire
protection systems and for circulating hot water, for draining flooded areas and
many other uses. There is lot of information available online for
centrifugal pumps.
